A low-key and fabulous find in NoLita.  Fabulous martinis and homemade ricotta alongside the bread, mad a great accompaniament to the delectable pasta dishes.  A great meal was had by all.

Rice to Riches

I found such a little gem in NYC today.  It is a Rice Pudding Cafe called Rice to Riches.  It is located at 37 Spring Street in Nolita in NYC.  They had over 20 flavors + toppings.  I tried the coconut banana but ultimately went with the cinnamon raisin.  Yum, Yum Yum!  check out their website for overnight delivery too  rice to riches.com.

You can nourish damaged hair back to life in just three washes!  That's the claim of new Aveeno Nourish.  I love the smell and anything that can help control my frizz is a good thing!  I am a buzzagent so check this product out!

Popcorn Indiana Organic KettleCorn

This is amazing and addictive.  It has a great combo of sweet and salty flavoring.  It is about $4 a bag and is sold at Whole Foods, Bed Bath & Beyond (who knew?) and BJs.  DK and I can go through a bag a weekend!  It is also affiliated with Dale & Thomas popcorn.  Yum!

Baby Chi Hair Straightener

Great for home, travel or the gym bag.  This $60 chi is lightweight and easier to use than it's big sister.  Get it at Harmon Drug.

SIGG and Thermos bottles

We all know plastic bottles are bad for the environment so why not do your part to help. I walk around 24/7 with these water bottles in my office, at home and at the gym. We even subscribed to a monthly water cooler service so that my husband would stop using single serve bottles.

They are not meant to be the source for tourist attractions. Pick up another travel guide for that! The focus is on restaurants, hotels, shopping & art. I don't leave home without them- especially since they easily fit in your purse or pocket.

TV Show- Royal Pains

Believe it or not my dad told me about this show and I am now addicted. It is such a guilty pleasure because it's about an up and coming doctor in NYC named Hank who loses his job in the city and ends up in the Hamptons with his brother Evan for memorial day weekend. But what the Hamptons brings for Hank is a new opportunity- a new career as a Doctor Concierge for the rich and famous. Each week brings a new medical emergency that Hank Med must solve. It's unrealistic, over the top and it's the Hamptons. It's one of my many guilty pleasures! It is on USA network.

My new True Religion Jordan Jeans

I saw these jeans on a Saks email blast and thought 'I had to have them'. It was a rainy Saturday morning and I bought a pair of True Religion Jordan boyfriend jeans. They were not cheap but I want to wear them every day! They can be worn with a great pair of heels or rolled up for a more casual look. They're now sold out at saks but Nordstrom has them on sale!

Mr Clean Magic Eraser Really is Magic!

Let me start out by say ing I don't have kids so I normally wouldn't know about a product like this. However, for anyone who has a house or an apartment, you need to know about this product.

We have beautifully painted white walls in our beach house but I noticed that they seemed very scuffed. Based on what I know I would have A- tried to wash the walls or B- hired a painter. I spoke to my neighbor who told me about these Mr Clean Magic Erasers and although I was skeptical, I figured they were worth a shot. A damp cloth was not doing the trick!

My husband brought two boxes home for me and I was daunted by them sitting on the counter for almost a week. Finally I decided 'what did I have to lose'. I grabbed one, dampened it and started to wipe. Just like the box said, they are truly magic. They worked so well on my white walls that I couldn't stop. The hall, the guest room, the master bedroom, the doors, the hall,...you get the picture. There was almost no stain that it didn't remove.

They were easy, fun to use, non-messy and overall, just a great product. If you have a house or apt, get them. If you have kids, get boxes of them! What a fantastic product!!
